Where it began

Welcome to the Morning Star Apothecary. I started my journey through witchcraft thanks to all the women in my family that came before me. From what I can most vividly remember, my first ever experience with magick was taught to me by my great grandma. Every break I had in school I would travel out of my home country to visit her and she taught me how to call on saints and spirits to help me. My first saint I can remember praying to was Saint Anthony whenever I lost something.

Learning the craft

Then I began learning from my mom and grandma who are certified Reiki practitioners, who began teaching me about Reiki, grounding myself, protection rituals and divination. My first divination tool was a blue topaz pendulum. Of course, as a small child my form divination was asking my ancestors what outfit and hairstyle was the cutest for picture day, but as I got older and after several significant life events I began getting more serious about my craft.

I bought my first tarot deck at 18 and began educating myself on how I could practice magick in a way that really stuck with me but then after time I looked back and realized all the ways I had already been unintentionally been doing witchcraft my whole life, from enchanting perfumes and makeup, matching jewelry to intention and so much more.

The Apothecary today

Realizing that, I began doing rituals for myself through rituals and glamour work and also creating ritual kits and practicing tarot readings with family and friends. My products will always reflect something I learned from the people and memories I have made in my life, so you can always remember that every product is made with a very special intention and reflects not just me but many other that came before me.
